DIY Doggie Treats

Hello everyone! Have you ever noticed how expensive dog treats can be? You can be charged up to $20 for a box of treats, and they’re processed and unhealthy! I’ve taken the time to research all natural dog treats, and this is the best one I’ve found. It’s fairly simple, and really cheap. Here are the ingredients:

🐾 1 cup of milk

🐾 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter (make sure it does NOT contain  artificial sweeteners such as xylitol)

🐾 1 egg

🐾 2 cups of all purpose flour

🐾 1/2 cup of oatmeal

The steps to make these treats are:

🐾 Preheat your oven it 350 degrees

🐾 In a blender, blend the milk and peanut butter

🐾 Add in the egg and blend again

🐾 Mix the flour and oatmeal in a large mixing bowl

🐾 Slowly mix in the milk and peanut butter mixture until it makes a dough, and then kneed the the dough for a few minutes

🐾 Roll out the dough on a lightly floured, flat surface, about 1/4 inch thick

🐾 Cut the dough into the desired shape you want them (I usually just skip this step and make them into tiny disks)

🐾 Bake the treats on a baking tray lined with parchment paper for 30 minutes or until they are lightly browned

Making these treats only take me about an hour, and it’s so simple. My dogs love them! Also, some dogs are sensitive to milk, so if your dog is I’d recommend replacing the milk with water or chicken broth.
